Mechanics Institute

Brunswick Mechanics Institute is a multipurpose arts venue and historical building that is currently home to Next Wave: a small, not-for-profit arts organisation that has been supporting artists for over 40 years.

Brunswick Mechanics Institute is used by Next Wave to present their program of artist-led activities. The venue can also be hired by artists, creative practitioners and cultural organisations for creative development including rehearsals, workshops, script development, filming and artist talks.
