Earlier this year Sydney Road Brunswick asked its community close by and far away, which business they loved most and why. The results came from as far as Darwin and the reasons people were voting was clear – a sense of community, of friendliness, and of connection. Here’s just some of the 80+ responses received!

	Anya’s love for Eve Studio Eve is an amazing place to work out. With options like dance, yoga and HIIT, it caters to any mood. The studio is super welcoming and is my second home.
	Faye’s love for Volaris Music Friendly and knowledgeable staff who share their passion for music with customers and the community. Their music teachers are wonderfully encouraging for all ages.
	Emm’s love for That Paper Joint Max, Zoe and Franky are the bestest! Their place is fun creative and cozy! Everyone should visit!

	Grace’s love for Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre People are always welcoming and encouraging visitors to participate in sewing or helping others. Donations of fabric are always accepted with a smile.

	Oliver’s love for Anne's Discount Fabrics This store is the saviour for fashion students (RMIT Brunswick Campus) who forget material. They don't miss, quality, variety and service is top notch.
	Flora’s love for Pantheon Cakes Pantheon offers quality continental cakes, and traditional and hospitable service, that harks back to the seventies when Sydney Road began embracing its new multicultural community.
	Elisabeth’s love for Brunswick Bound Brunswick Bound has a great range of books and other bits and pieces - cards, games, wrapping paper and little gadgets. Friendly staff too. It's my favourite place for books and gifts.

	Chaithanya’s love for Choukette Choukette is my Cheers. Not only do they ply everyone with gorgeous coffee and mouth-watering pastries, they are the friendliest and kindest bunch around. Also, they have a pay it forward scheme, making the world better one cup of coffee at a time.
