You don’t want to miss Sydney Road Street Party 2017!

A free event that attracts thousands of people from around Melbourne and beyond.

Live music, craft stalls and street performance make this one party you don’t want to miss. The music ranges from roots and blues, African and Indigenous music and music by local young people. It’s a genuine all-ages day, celebrating peace, understanding and cultural diversity.

This year the Sydney Road Brunswick Association presents a Side-Show Alley with amusing fairground games and lucky dip prizes.

Muster up some mates and join in the pop-up choir and pound the beat with your African drum, rattle your shakers and play dress-ups for the camera. Get your free Sydney Road shopping bag at the Victoria Street Traders’ corral … it’s WANTED.

Sydney Road Brunswick Association presents a Side-Show Alley…

Fairground games– Adults & kids – Dress-up photo opportunity 

Noon – 7pm

Wack the hammer down as hard as you can, ring the bell and dig deep into the chamber of prizes of the lucky dip.

Test your ball throwing skills with the open milk cans –and prizes to be won.

Come & play dress-ups with the wild costumes and props with a complimentary take-home shot of your new image !

Audience drumming sessions
4.30- 6pm
Make the beat ! 3 x 15 minute drumming sessions – where you keep the beat & finish with your feet !
Finale drumming performance @ 6pm

Audience Pop Up Choir – join in! 

3- 4.15pm 

Come sing your heart out under the instruction of a Choir leader for a 15 minute session.

It’ll be  a hoot, it’ll be a holla, it’ll be what it will be!

Roaming performers

1-4pm – Spot the Seagulls

12.30- 4.30pm -Tim Tim on giant stilts, blowing giant bubbles

3-6pm  Giant flowers roaming on their stilts.
